Parent-Infant Class
Infant student sleeping sounding as her parent reads a story.

Trained Infant/Toddler teachers conduct this five-week course for parents and their children ages 2 months through 17 months. This class runs one afternoon a week for four weeks with the children, and ends with one parent-only discussion.

The goal of the class is to assist the child's development through small-group interaction. Special materials and furniture are designed to aid movement, eye/hand coordination, and the development of the senses. Parents learn how to observe, support, and encourage natural development within the prepared environment. The teacher also gives enlightening information regarding nutrition and discipline.
